Our Story

Nestled in the heart of Saddleworth, on the doorstep of the Peak District, Door Number One was born out of a desire to make choosing and buying gifts that bit more exciting. Traditional hampers are a lovely idea however we felt we needed to offer something with a bit more edge.

We like to ‘say no to plastic’ as often as possible, so you won’t find any cellophane wrapping on our hampers. Natural and recyclable materials are our focus.

There are gifts for every occasion, for friends and loved ones, even pets! With plenty of vegan friendly options as well as some which cater to those with specific tastes.

We’re always on the look out for new ideas and the latest Eco-friendly trends and are constantly adding to our range of gifts, keeping things fresh!

Of course we love to showcase local businesses, independent retailers and artists as often as possible, supporting small business and giving you gift choices that are far from mainstream.

Each unique hamper is created with care and thoughtfulness for a personal touch that is sure not to disappoint.
